Staying safe online

The workshop began with an introduction to cyber security and online safety. Students learned about using the internet responsibly and staying alert while interacting online.

They were also guided on the safe and responsible use of social media, with a focus on making thoughtful and secure choices online.

Protecting personal information

Students learned why personal information and passwords should be kept private and protected.

The session also helped them understand how to identify suspicious activities, avoid online scams, and respond safely to potential cyber threats.

Learning about women's safety

The workshop also focused on personal safety and awareness. Students received guidance on staying alert, recognising unsafe situations, and seeking help when needed.

The session highlighted the importance of being aware of their surroundings and knowing how to respond during difficult situations.

Practising self-defence

Students were introduced to basic self-defence techniques, including different kicks and simple protective movements. A practical demonstration showed students how these techniques can be used to protect themselves during unsafe situations.

A practical learning experience
